Todd McNeill

Todd McNeill is Chief Executive Officer and a Partner of Gardner Tanenbaum. With over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, he oversees all company activities and along with the Chairman Richard Tanenbaum, is responsible for establishing and implementing the Company’s strategic direction. Mr. McNeill joined Gardner Tanenbaum in 2025, culminating a 17 year relationship with Gardner Tanenbaum where he was a trusted advisor to Gardner Tanenbaum handling all of the firm’s capital markets activities during that time, along with co-founding Tanenbaum Equity Partners in 2015 where Mr. McNeil serves as the Chief Strategy Officer and Partner.

Mr. McNeill has extensive experience in securing and structuring debt and joint venture equity financing for a broad range of property types. Over the course of his career, he has executed in excess of $6B in capital deployments for a variety of asset types and financing structures including tax credits, agency loans, joint venture & preferred equity, and complex construction projects.

Formerly, Mr. McNeill oversaw the Texas offices of Institutional Property Advisors (IPA). Todd graduated from the Michael F. Price School of Business at the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting.
