Cindy Murillo

Cindy Murillo serves as Chief Operating Officer of Gardner Tanenbaum Holdings and brings more than 30 years of experience in commercial construction, multifamily development, student housing, and military family housing. She is recognized for her leadership in project management, development planning, and Historic Tax Credit multifamily development projects, generating more than $74 million in negotiated proceeds for owners. Over her career, she has delivered $792 million in projects and transitioned 6,575 units from construction to operations.

Since rejoining Gardner Tanenbaum in 2013, Ms. Murillo has led seven multifamily developments totaling $352.6 million, guided successful lease-up operations, and delivered four assets for sale totaling $118.5 million with net proceeds of $37.4 million. Her earlier work includes overseeing the privatization and redevelopment of more than 3,600 housing units at four U.S. Air Force Bases and the historic retrofit and lease-up of The Classen Luxury Apartments, Oklahoma City’s first Luxury High Rise, which went on to achieve 90% occupancy in 120 days.

As COO, Ms. Murillo directs all development and operational activities, including site planning, contract coordination, and project execution. She is a licensed Broker Proprietor with the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission, a Certified Defense Property Manager through IREM, a Certified Mediation Practitioner, and serves as Vice Chair of the Downtown Oklahoma City BID Advisory Board.
